Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) National Audit 2026

After the successful completion of the pilot, BTS is planning a national version of the EBUS audit to run in 2026. This audit will collect data on the delivery of Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) across all indications in acute hospitals within the UK. This audit will begin data collection on 1 April 2026, but due to the nature of this audit will collect retrospective data for EBUS procedures performed during the dates of 1 September 2025 - 31 December 2025.

The Part 1 questions will remain the same as the pilot, and can be found below. BTS is currently considering adding additional organisational (Part 2) questions to the national audit, and an update will be provided in early 2026.
