Smoking Cessation National Audit 2021

The BTS National Smoking Cessation Audit 2021 examined the management of tobacco dependency in acute care NHS trusts across the UK during July–August 2021. It built on findings from revious audits in 2016 and 2019. 

This iteration introduced additional measures to assess whether provision had improved, including access to brief advice from frontline staff, NICE-recommended pharmacotherapies, and vaping as a cessation tool.
