Feedback sought on toolkit to develop chronic cough pathways

Over the last 18 months, BTS has been supporting NHS England with its Elective Care Pathways Programme, which aims to promote the development and spread of interventions to achieve the 18-week Referral-to-Treatment standard. As part of this, a draft Chronic Cough Implementation Toolkit has been developed, drawing on learning from participating trusts and pathway development work.

The aim of the Implementation Toolkit is to provide a practical resource to support trusts in understanding, developing and implementing their local cough pathways, both within existing resources and, where needed, through future business case development.

The project manager for this work, Nikki Patel at Imperial College Health Partners, is seeking feedback on this resource. Specifically, on whether the content is clear, practical and reflects clinical reality, and whether it is something that could be used within services.

Any suggestions for improvement would also be very helpful.
