The BTS Summer Meeting has been approved by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the UK for 12 category 1 (external) CPD credits (6 per day) with CPD code: 154570.
All delegates who participate will be sent a personalised certificate of attendance via email after the event.
The Respiratory SAC has approved the Summer Meeting as one of the respiratory education events that all respiratory specialist trainees should attend.
Nursing and Midwifery Council Revalidation
By attending the Summer Meeting, it will be possible for nurses to demonstrate CPD and write reflective accounts to support their revalidation. These relate to the NMC Code for Professional Standards of Practice and Behaviour for Nurses and Midwives, including:
- what you learnt from the sessions;
- how you will change or improve your practice as a result;
- how this is relevant to the Code – prioritising people, practising effectively, preserving safety or promoting professionalism and trust.

The Summer Meeting should be suitable for inclusion in the portfolios of respiratory physiotherapists, being part of a programme of education offered by the British Thoracic Society.
