BTS ILD Registry

The BTS Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) Registry holds national longitudinal data for two disease areas, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and sarcoidosis and all fibrosing ILDs.

Following a BTS Board review of the Lung Disease Registry Programme, the UK ILD Registry will close on 30 June 2026. The Registry dataset will remain available to access via the BTS data access request process.

The timeline for the Registry closure will be as follows:

• The Registry will be closed to new cases from 30 April 2026
• Existing cases may be updated and committed until 30 May 2026
• Users can log in to download their hospital’s exports and reports until 30 June 2026.
