This introductory course is designed for multidisciplinary healthcare professionals who are new to delivering pulmonary rehabilitation, including new members of staff joining rehabilitation services. It is also one of the nationally approved courses recognised by the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Services Accreditation Scheme (PRSAS).

The course runs approximately every six months and consists of two complementary parts.
To receive a certificate of attendance, delegates must complete Part 1 before attending Part 2.

The pre-learning modules take approximately 2.5 hours to complete. Please ensure you can dedicate sufficient time to these modules before attending the online workshop.
As an essential part of the course, delegates are expected to complete the pre-learning before the live session.

If you are unable to complete the pre-learning before the workshop, please contact BTS. We can transfer your booking to the next available workshop on one occasion without any additional charge. Any further changes will require a new course booking and payment of the course fee.
The Advanced Pulmonary Rehabilitation course will take place on 3 and 4 November 2027.
Designed for a multi-professional audience with experience working in pulmonary rehabilitation, this course explores more advanced aspects of clinical practice. We recommend that delegates complete the Fundamentals of Pulmonary Rehabilitation course before attending.

Payment options
We accept payment by credit/debit card or invoice. If your employer is paying on your behalf, you can book online and choose the ‘Pay by invoice’ payment option.
To issue an invoice, which we only do to Finance Departments, not individuals, we will require a Purchase Order form sent to us at least 2 weeks prior to the event. If this is not received, we will have to cancel your place.
