Impact of COVID-19 on Tuberculosis Services in the UK Survey Report
During the COVID-19 pandemic NHS England and NHS Improvement circulated guidance stating that TB services should be maintained. This provided BTS with the opportunity to understand how COVID-19 had affected services that were continuing to operate during the pandemic.
We carried out a survey over summer 2021 looking at the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on TB services. 72 UK sites responded, with responses received from all English regions and the devolved nations, representing both high and low TB incidence areas.
