Membership opportunities
Opportunities for BTS members to join BTS groups and committees are advertised on this page and in our members' newsletter. Every summer we have several vacancies on our committees, groups and on BTS Council.
Vacancies on Specialist Advisory Groups and other working groups also come up at various times during the year.
Current opportunity: Join the BTS Clinical Statement on Pulmonary Arteriovenous Malformations (PAVMs) group and help shape future clinical guidance.
Thank you
We are proud of the fact that hundreds of our UK members are actively involved in BTS business in any one year, and that the diversity of our membership is better represented than ever before in these activities.
BTS members can become involved in our activities by serving on a Committee or Specialist Advisory Group; developing a short course; contributing to a BTS Guideline or Quality Standard/Clinical Statement Group; helping out at a Royal College event where specialist input is needed; putting together a response to national consultations; or dealing with a request for advice and information.
Our Winter and Summer Meetings, our Clinical, Education and Quality Improvement programmes, and all our other work would not be possible without your help. In other words, the Society cannot manage without you all — thank you.
