BIOGRAPHY
Don Urquhart is a Consultant and Honorary Reader in Paediatric Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People and University of Edinburgh. Don is a clinician and researcher whose main interests are in exercise and Cystic Fibrosis, and sleep medicine. Don undertook paediatric respiratory training in London, and has an MD from UCL. He undertook a post-CCT fellowship in paediatric sleep medicine in Brisbane.
Don has been an author on more than 90 peer-reviewed publications and has led several investigator-initiated studies in the fields of exercise in CF (most recently the ExACT-CF study) and also in sleep medicine. Don has been PI on a variety of drug trials, and has contributed to the writing of international exercise testing guidelines.
