BIOGRAPHY
Dr Tom Bewick is a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine at the Royal Derby Hospital. He has a clinical and research interest in acute lung infection, in particular developing and testing novel interventions to enhance recovery from community-acquired pneumonia and long COVID. He was a committee member for the NICE pneumonia guideline update in 2025, and has previously held positions in the NHSE pneumonia working group and BTS lung infection Specialist Advisory Group.
