Education and Training Committee
The Education and Training Committee is responsible for:
- developing the programme and abstract prizes process for BTS Summer Meetings
- developing and evaluating the annual BTS Short Courses programme
- liaising with the JRCPTB SAC for Respiratory Medicine to ensure that we support the training needs set out in the respiratory medicine curriculum
- ensuring that educational opportunities are provided for a multi-professional audience and meet BTS strategic objectives.
The committee meets three times a year. Vacancies for BTS members to join the committee are advertised on our Membership Opportunities page every summer.
