NOTICE OF VACANCY: HONORARY TREASURER 2026-2029
Dr Alanna Hare will come to the end of her period of office as Honorary Treasurer in November 2026. Our constitution requires that we seek a replacement to shadow Dr Hare for part of 2026, taking over at the Annual General Meeting in November 2026 and serving for three years until November 2029.

"Taking on the role of Honorary Treasurer was a little daunting at first, but in fact the position is enormously well supported by our fantastic Head Office finance team, as well as our experienced investment manager. I have learnt a huge amount over the time I have been in the role.
One of the key aspects of the role beyond finance, is being part of the Officers team. Working closely with Chief Executive Sally Welham, our President, Chair and Hon Secretary has meant I have been able to really support the Society with delivering on its vision and strategy. Sitting on the Board as an Officer is a great privilege. I can highly recommend the role and will be very sad to leave it!"
