This two-day course offers an introduction to the ever-expanding and exciting field of Interventional Bronchoscopy/Thoracoscopy and provides an opportunity to practice the various techniques during the hands-on workshops.

Interventional Bronchoscopy and Thoracoscopy
  • This course is aimed at Consultant Chest Physicians, Specialty Trainees, Bronchoscopy Nurses and other staff involved in the practice of advanced bronchoscopy and thoracoscopy.  

    This intensive course will include the following:

    • an introduction to various new techniques in the above field, their indications, contra-indications, patient selection, details of practical techniques, pitfalls and safety issues.
    • discussion of clinical examples illustrating the various procedures.
    • video demonstration of the latest techniques in Interventional Bronchoscopy/Thoracoscopy
    • practical tips from experts on models and several hands-on sessions for delegates to learn and practise these procedures.
    • guidance on setting up a service involving these technologies.
