Assessment & Review of Patients on Adult Home Oxygen Therapy
  • The Society remains committed to supporting training in Home Oxygen Therapy.

    Our aims are to:

    • Reduce variation in Ordering Home Oxygen Therapy and Follow-up of patients
    • Support both the learning and training in Home Oxygen Therapy as detailed in the BTS Standards documents

The course is aimed at all members of the multi-professional team (Medical, Nursing, Health Care Science) involved in the care of patients who may require home oxygen and wish to extend their skills to effectively order home oxygen therapy and ensure follow-up is in accordance with the BTS standards.

To help achieve this we have created an online BTS learning update to cover the relevant theoretical knowledge and practical aspects aligned to BTS standards.
