BTS Guideline for the Investigation and Management of Pleural Mesothelioma

 

 

The new BTS Guideline for the investigation and management of pleural mesothelioma has been published.

The new Guideline provides recommendations relating to key points in the patient pathway, from optimal diagnostic strategies for suspected MPM, symptom control, anticancer treatment, follow-up and organisation of services.

The full guideline is published as a supplement to the March 2018 issue of Thorax (available below).  A summary of the recommendations is also available in BMJ Open Respiratory Research (available below).  Read the Thorax article online here
