Chair of the Specialty Trainees' Advisory Group

We are seeking to replace Dr Charlotte Addy who will stand down as Chair of the STAG in June 2018.

The Chair of the STAG represents trainees’ interests on BTS Council, which meets twice a year.  S/he is also expected to chair at least 2 meetings of the STAG and host an open meeting during the BTS Winter Meeting.  The full job description can be viewed here

Dr Addy is the best salesperson for this post:-

“This role has been one of the most positive steps I have taken during my training. It has offered me the opportunity to help shape the future of respiratory medicine, make the voice of trainees heard at the highest levels of the BTS and sparked projects and ideas which I will continue with long after my time as STAG chair has come to an end.

This post is best suited to a trainee who is enthusiastic about respiratory medicine, driven to improve the delivery of respiratory training and dedicated to representing respiratory trainees nationwide.”

Please address your application to the Society's Honorary Secretary, Dr Justin Pepperell, to arrive no later than noon on Friday 9th March (via sheila.edwards@brit-thoracic.org.uk).
