BTS Science and Research Committee Chair vacancy

BTS invites applications for Chair of the Science and Research Committee (from BTS members only).  The current Chair, Professor Gisli Jenkins, will step down in December 2018.

The Chair of this Committee also serves as a Trustee of the Society during the time s/he is in post.  S/he is therefore the main link between the development and execution of the Society’s strategic objectives (as summarised in the Strategic Plan) and the detailed work of the Committee.  The Society’s Board of Trustees meets 4 times a year and all Trustees are expected to attend the AGM each year.

BTS members wishing to be considered for the post should apply in writing, including a short c.v. and a brief statement outlining your reasons for applying and what you can bring to the post.  Please note that we will not accept applications from non-members.
