The British Thoracic Society is pleased to announce the 4th Newcastle course on Radiology for Chest Physicians. The course is the equivalent of the Oxford radiology course, and is organised by Dr Sylvia Worthy, Consultant Thoracic Radiologist at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle upon Tyne.
The aim of the course is to introduce chest physicians to the fundamentals of thoracic radiology interpretation and its objectives are to teach these fundamentals by using a combination of lectures and small group tutorial imaging review to reinforce the learning and maximise delegate involvement.
Participants will learn the fundamentals of imaging in thoracic diseases and is aimed at chest physicians - both consultants and respiratory trainees. Course numbers are restricted to allow effective small group tutorial learning. There will be a maximum of 6 tutorial groups with a maximum of 6 delegates per group so early booking is advisable.
