A Call to Action
5–6 October 2009
ASH Wales is hosting Communicate, Collaborate, Celebrate on 5th and 6th October 2009 in Cardiff, Wales.
Communicate, Collaborate, Celebrate is a two day tobacco control conference that recognises the importance of working in partnership across diverse agencies, of spreading the tobacco control message and of celebrating successes in reducing prevalence rates.
Confirmed speakers at the conference include Professor Gerard Hastings (University of Stirling), Professor, the Baroness Finlay of Llandaff (Professor of Palliative Care, Velindre Hospital), Ms Karla Sneegas (Executive Director, Indiana Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Agency), Dr Tony Jewell (Chief Medical Officer for Wales), Mr Oliver Smith (Department of Health).
Additionally, a range of highly interactive workshops by tobacco control experts are planned for the two day conference. Workshops details are available from the website.
