BTS Guidelines are available via the links providedin the table below. Links to other guidance and Quality Standards documents produced by BTS and NICE are also included on this webpage. 

Information about the BTS Guideline Production process and resources for Guideline Groups are available in the Guideline Development Centre.

The British Thoracic Society was awarded NICE Accreditation for its clinical guideline production process in November 2011. Accreditation is valid for five years from November 2011 and  applies to guidelines produced since July 2010. More information on accreditation can be viewed at http://www.nice.org.uk/accreditation.

The BTS Guideline Production Manual (2012), which outlines the Society's policies and processes in relation to the preparation of BTS Guidelines is available here.
