Dr Steve Connellan is the BTS lead for matters relating to the coding of respiratory care. He has recently been involved in the updating of the Guide to Coding of Respiratory Care (June 2011). This provides useful background to the revision of Respiratory Healthcare Resource Groups (HRGs) as well as practical advice on coding respiratory activity. The document can be downloaded here.
