BTS Guidelines for the management of adults with community acquired pneumonia were published in 2001 and an update to the guidelines published in 2004.  A second update will appear in early 2009.

Guidelines for the management of community acquired pneumonia in childhood were published in 2002 and an update is likely to be produced in 2009.
